Big news, Annette family — and we want you there to hear it with us.

We’re hosting a Watch Party for the Jays Care Foundation Field of Dreams grant announcement, and we’ll be finding out live whether Annette’s application was successful. We’ve been working toward this funding for several years, so this is a genuinely important moment for our league.

When: Sunday, June 7, 2026
Time: 12:00–2:00 pm — the announcement happens at 1:00 pm, so don’t be late!
Where: In the neighbourhood (DM/Email us for the exact location)

A few things to know:

  • Wear your Blue Jays gear or dress in blue. The more colour, the better.
  • We’ll be filming everyone’s reaction to share with Jays Care — you might even end up on TV!
  • We’d love a strong turnout from players, parents and coaches across the league, and especially from our 13U, 15U and 18U Select.

About Field of Dreams: Made possible by TD, Field of Dreams is Jays Care Foundation’s program that funds the design, refurbishment and building of baseball and softball diamonds in communities across Canada — safe, inclusive spaces where kids can play and neighbours can connect. To date, Jays Care has invested nearly $22 million into more than 250 of these diamonds nationwide. Being selected would be a meaningful boost for baseball in our community.

This is one of those come-together-as-a-community moments, and a big showing really matters. Bring your players, bring your families, and let’s find out together whether we’re successful in our application.
