Playing Season - Select 2026
Tryouts for the 2026 Select teams are open. We encourage all interested players to attend to help build on the success the teams had this season.
The Annette Select program offers the following division levels for the 2025 season. Birth year of players in brackets. Female players have the option of playing one-year overage in all divisions.
- Select 9U (2017 & 2018)
- Select 11U (2015 & 2016)
- Select 13U (2013 & 2014)
- Select 15U (2011 & 2012)
- Select 18U (2008, 2009 & 2010)
1. Focus on Fun and Player Development: While Annette strives to create competitive baseball teams, we do so in an environment of support and encouragement. There is a great deal of focus on resilience and being a good teammate. We want to create good citizens.
2. Schedule and Commitment: Select season starts in early May and goes into August, culminating in playoffs. Select players can expect to be on the field four times a week consisting of: one Select practice, one Select game, one House League practice and one House League game. For 15U and higher players do not play in House League.
3. Competitive Play: All Select teams play in the Etobicoke Baseball Association loop and all teams will play competitive tournaments throughout the season. Tournaments are a great bonding experience for players and families.
4. Minimal Travel Distance: Our Select loop games are all in the west Toronto/Etobicoke area. All away games are less than a 30-minute drive away, even in Toronto traffic.
