President’s Message

Welcome to the Annette Baseball Association (ABA)

Nothing says spring and summer like being at the diamond to watch your kids play the game of baseball!

My family has been involved at Annette since 2015 when our youngest joined T-ball and we have loved every minute of it! Beyond the obvious physical benefits of staying active and healthy, baseball teaches valuable life skills. The sport instills discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, fostering a strong sense of character. As they step onto the field, they learn to handle success and failure gracefully, building resilience and a positive mindset. The camaraderie formed within the team environment enhances their social skills and helps them develop lasting friendships. Moreover, baseball provides a platform for my children to embrace competition, learn the importance of fair play, and understand the significance of cooperation. The cheering fans, the crack of the bat, and the thrill of making a play all contribute to a memorable and enriching experience that goes beyond the game itself, creating lasting memories for all.

Annette Baseball runs on the strength of support from its families and volunteers. Each year we require coaching volunteers and parent assistance to keep our program going. Apart from a general knowledge of the rules of the game, no particular baseball knowledge or expertise is required to volunteer or be effective as a coach. The role mainly requires interest and a relatively modest time commitment. If you are interested in helping in an organizational capacity, please let us know directly at annettestreetbaseball@gmail.com

So, welcome to  at Annette. I can already hear the batted balls and joyous cheers echoing over Ravina Gardens and High Park. Come help us make it the best season ever!
